Deep Water Pressure Washing recently completed a full soft washing of the stucco siding and pure water window cleaning at the Holiday Inn in Tacoma, WA. This large-scale commercial project required specialized cleaning techniques to remove years of built-up dirt, algae, and mildew while protecting the building’s delicate surfaces. We used our proven three-part water-based cleaning solution for the stucco and a spot-free pure water system for the hotel’s many windows, leaving the property looking fresh, clean, and welcoming for guests.

This project involved working around an active hotel, so careful planning was key. Our crew coordinated work areas to ensure guests and staff could move about the property without disruption.

CHALLENGES & APPROACH

The most challenging areas were on the back side of the building, where there was no concrete pad to support the lift. To solve this, our team laid four heavy-duty sheets of plywood on the ground and repositioned them as we moved the lift forward. This creative approach allowed us to safely reach the highest corners and detailed trim work.

Another challenge was preventing the cleaning solution from drying on the hotel’s asphalt parking lot, which can leave white streaks that are both unattractive and difficult to remove. To avoid this, we assigned a dedicated crew member to continuously rinse the asphalt during the washing process, ensuring the property remained spotless from start to finish.

RESULTS & CLIENT SATISFACTION

The transformation was dramatic — every inch of the stucco siding was restored to its original bright color, and all algae and organic growth were removed. The windows were left perfectly clear and streak-free, giving the hotel a crisp, well-maintained look. The project was completed on schedule, without damage to the building’s surfaces or to the exterior AC units, and without disturbing hotel guests. The client was extremely pleased with the results and impressed by our attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
